FROM RAW MATERIALS TO FINISHED PACKAGING FROM RECYCLING TO REGRANULATE<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The production process comprises several stages. In the first stage, the raw material<\/strong> is made into film<\/strong>. In a second stage, which may ensue, the film is processed on converting machines<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

f requested by the customer, printing in premium quality<\/strong> takes place in our new printing center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Afterwards, we continuously convert all film waste in CORETH’s own recycling center<\/strong> again into Post Industrial raw material, which we return to the production cycle as regranulate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

AN OVERVIEW OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The initial product is polyethylene granulate<\/strong>, which is manufactured to various specifications. Depending on the intended use, the basic materials are mixed with additives in order to obtain certain characteristics (such as colour, or UV stability<\/strong>). However, first-class raw materials alone are not enough to ensure high-quality products; modern technology and qualified employees also play a crucial role in the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


First, the raw materials are weighed and mixed automatically and then melted in the extruder. The film comes out of the extruder’s nozzle in a tubular shape and runs upwards through a vertical cooling section. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film is then laid out flat and run downwards through several rolls on a track. Next, the tubular film is wound onto tubes made of cardboard or steel<\/strong> and either delivered directly or sent to the converting department for further processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CONVERTING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the second phase of the manufacturing process, the film is wound on large rolls and undergoes further processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Computer-controlled converting machines are used to make bags and pallet covers<\/strong> in various dimensions. Our flexible systems enable us to create tailor-made products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The film can be wound onto smaller rolls (construction film<\/strong>) or cut to meet specific customer requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, the finished product is put through a multi-step quality control system and is then packaged and prepared for dispatch or delivery.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

THE PRINTING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In addition to inline printing, we are also able to process flat films in our new printing centre, using superior-quality 8-colour flexographic printing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n

THE RECYCLING<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In CORETH’s own recycling center<\/strong>, the film waste is converted into regranulate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The regranulate can be reused in all products approved by the legislator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The proportion of regrind in a film depends on the intended use and on the use of the film packaging. For secondary packaging materials in the beverage packaging sector, it is possible to use a recycled content in the middle layer of the film. We are also happy to take on your orders for contract recycling<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We also produce sustainable solutions<\/strong> through the careful use of raw materials and thus conserve raw material resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
